My name is not Charlotte and I don't know any talking porcine types, but I love books, libraries, and teenagers. I have three teens / pre-teens of my own, and I enjoy working with middle school students in the library at OL Slaton in Lubbock, Texas. Literacy - both of the traditional and technological varieties - are critical in our school and in our world, and I try to encourage and support the students and staff on our campus in order to achieve even better results. There is a book out there for everyone - sometimes it just takes a little trial and error to match up the reader with the book.
This venue will be an opportunity to share with students and friends what I've read and learned and what I recommend.
